With all of the swirling topics within the information age, we provide news to guide. & with that, you may have missed the truncated Big Ten – ACC Challenge that took place in the first week of December. Here’s a brief recap –

Georgia Tech defeated Nebraska in a tightrope act that saw a 35 minute stalemate come to a clinch near the last four minutes. In those final minutes, GT went on a 16-8 run as potential sixth man of the year candidate, Kahlid Moore notched a critical 11 points and 8 rebounds.
Iowa edged out UNC as they displayed an immaculate inside out game through their dominant big, Luka Garza. By giving him a touch every time down the floor, they were able to exploit porous defense from Carolina on 17-40 shooting from 3PT.
Minnesota escaped Boston College by a score of 85-80 in Overtime fashion.
Clemson clobbered Maryland 67-51 in a snoozer where they once led by 23 points at halftime.
Pittsburgh gained a quality win over current B1G Conference leader, Northwestern through a 19-4 advantage on the offensive glass.
Florida State eclipsed Indiana 69-67 on a game-winning field goal by Scottie Barnes.Ohio State mustered a tough victory over Notre Dame 90-85. This high intensity bout highlighted the superstar capabilities of Buckeyes’ E.J. Liddell and Notre Dame’s Prentiss Hubb. The Ice Man finished with 19 PTS 12 REBS and Hubb tallied 26 PTS 6 REBS and 6 AST. Role players stepped up considerably for the Bucks, here.
Penn State rallied the troops for a win over Virginia Tech.
Miami bested Purdue in a game that saw Purdue pathetically account for only 0.82 points per possession.
Lastly, in what could be one of the B1G’s strongest sleeper squads, Rutgers defeated Syracuse 79-69. Ron Harper Jr. poured in 26 points in his typical man amongst boys fashion. With great facilitation and court chemistry, keep a look out for this Rutgers team in March.
