Pharrell Williams, of N.E.R.D. B.B.C. and many other intricacies will notch another cultural development under his belt by opening a restaurant in Miami, Florida’s Design District. In cohoots with nightlife guru and entrepreneur David Grutman (owner of LIV), the two intend to develop “Swan and Bar Bevy” a highly exclusive and upper-echelon restaurant and cocktail lounge. This marks Pharrells initial inception within the restaurant realm and the location will reside in the former Fendi Casa space under the guidance of Grutman’s “Groot Hospitality Company.”
Grutman has been on quite a tear in terms of business acquisitions as he maintains and previously linked up with Komodo (Brickell), OTL (Design District) and Planta (South Beach) Pharrell’s inspiration from his father played an inspirational role within this business merger and his ‘Williams Family Kitchen’ lineage will certainly symbolize a direct correlation to the different features these two shall concoct.
Rumor has it, the upstairs of Swan/Bevy Miami will focus on the cocktail atmosphere while the downstairs will serve the soul food. Nothing has been confirmed as of right now in terms of lead chef and finalization and their social media accounts remain ambigious as well. Either way, if you possess top dollar and are looking for a new dining experience within the Florida area look no further than the drop of nightclub/restaurant Swan and Bar Bevy set to come to life in the Fall @90 NE 39th St.
