Well, tis the season to be jolly. For an elderly couple in York, Nebraska their holiday season has been filled with merry. MARY JANE!
The two octogenarians, Patrick and Barbara Jiron respectively aged 83 and 70, were pulled over on Interstate 80 after failing to signal when merging into the center lane.
Immediately, officers wafted a pungent odor from within the vehicle. Figuring that the piney substance within their nostrils was not a birch fir, the officers proceeded to search the automobile.
While commuting from Clearlake Oaks, CA to Vermont the couple ended up getting busted with 60 LBS of that sticky icky on their person.
“They said the marijuana was for Christmas presents,” Lieutenant Paul Vrbka told the New York Times. They must be real popular, then. $336,000 worth of weed could stuff quite a few stockings.”
UPDATE: The elderly couple are parents to Justin Jiron, the chief deputy of Chittenden County, Vermont, state’s attorney, the Burlington Free Press reported. Chittenden County is located in Burlington, Vermont, which is home to about 160,000 people.
Stoned driver in his 80s. Now there’s something you don’t see every day. He should have been driving a sleigh. The reindeer would have kept him on the right side of the road.
Christmas presents for their distributors maybe?
I wrote a funny post (275 words) called “Why Marijuana Should Not Be Legal Until Age 25.” If you would like to read it, I am open to any feedback: https://christopherjohnlindsay.wordpress.com/2017/12/20/marijuana/
