The NBA All-Star and Adidas accounted for unique personal details while developing the streamlined approach for the construction of his sneaker-sock, the Dame 4, his fourth signature sneaker. Apparently, it’s slated to receive a unique makeover, in the form of a dual brand collaboration with A Bathing Ape.
As seen in the mockup above and design plans below, the shoe contains most of BAPE’s iconic branding. Their mantra “World Gone Mad” finds its abbreviation upon the upper, while shark teeth run along the midsole, with the eyes remaining fixated on the toe of the shoe.
Leaks show the BAPE x Adidas Dame 4 in black and green colorways. There’s no confirmed release date, but rumors say the release will be during the 2018 All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.
